Tunnel of Oppression experience
I witness a terrifying reality on April 7, 2008. As I was walking through what was a dose of reality I realize how there is so much going on in the world around me. “The Tunnel of Oppression,” was what I considered the most honest experience about what is happening in this world. As I walked through the Children of War theme I felt like I was there, seeing everything that was actually happening to those kids.
Reading the information on the wall was enough to make me feel something. Seeing the video of the kids being interviewed was too much to bare. My ignorance had not let me see what was truly going on until I experienced this tunnel.
After letting all this information sink in I kept walking through that tunnel. As I was reading all the information I was filled with anger and sadness at the same time. Anger because I learned the truth of what we as humans have the capacity to do but don’t do it. Like for example the genocide that has been happening all around the world As an American I am showed these pictures and media coverage an I see it and say how sad but so does every other American I know. We witness so much hatred and still do nothing about it. I got angry at myself while walking through this tunnel.
The sadness came from seeing all these pictures and reading all this information. I felt bad for all humans who have been hurt by others. Hatred is a bad emotion especially when it is put into action towards others. As I was walking through that tunnel I kept thinking to myself that there is still some good in the world at least that is what I like to think. The tunnel just got worst and worst I saw nothing that gave a sign of relief.
The whole tunnel of oppression experience was great in a sense that it informs people of the truth but it was also depressing witnessing the truth. I suggest this place to everyone, people should see the monstrosity that is going on in the world.

The trouble with dieting
The trouble with dieting is that it is not easy for everyone. I personally have tried dieting more than five times in my life time. For some reason it does not work out. As a busy person I have no time to worry about what I should eat. I hardly have time to workout for an hour. Dieting is more suited for people who have nothing to do.
Trying to balance work, school, and everything else going on in my life is difficult. I am not saying that watching what you it is bad I am simply saying that you can loose wait by eating healthier and exercise. People seem to starve themselves and call that a diet or over exercise themselves and call that a diet. Eating healthier food should be easy enough.
As for dieting products like pills that are in the market, which is just not worth all that money. I have been one of those people who have been sucked in to buying every product imaginable. Besides the fact that they cost so much money there is also the problem of actually getting sick from the side affects. I have been a victim to those side affects. I never knew they would actually happen. The risk of me actually dieting with pills was far greater than not dieting.
The problem with dieting is that people have to have time to do it, watching what you eat is considered making healthy choices and I think that is what people should do. Make healthier choices in their eating habits not completely stop eating.
Being active is important although I am not in a diet at the moment I have been making healthier choices and with my busy schedule I am always up and running so I think just being active is healthy. Although I do not have time to exercise like I would like to I can still get a bit of exercise by brisk walking. So dieting is not for everyone but being healthy is making healthier choices is.

The five W's
WELLINGTON, New Zealand - A knife-wielding woman tried to hijack a regional domestic flight in New Zealand Friday, stabbing both pilots and threatening to blow up the twin-propeller plane before she was subdued, police said. The wounded pilots were able to land the plane safety in Christchurch, causing chaos at the popular tourist city's airport as police and emergency crews rushed onto the tarmac to arrest the suspect, evacuate the six passengers and search the plane for bombs.
The airport was closed for about three hours.
Air New Zealand, the national carrier who operated the flight through a charter company, said it was reviewing security measures nationally following the incident. In New Zealand, passengers and their luggage on short haul flights are not subject to security checks.
Christchurch police Commander Dave Cliff said the 33-year-old woman, originally from Somalia, attacked the pilots about 10 minutes into the flight from the regional city of Blenheim, 40 miles south of the capital of Wellington, to Christchurch, about 220 miles south of the capital.
After the woman had been subdued, the pilots made emergency radio calls reporting that the attacker said there were two bombs aboard the plane, Cliff said.
Army and police bomb squads searched the plane and luggage on, but found no explosives.
During the ordeal, the woman demanded to be flown to Australia — a destination that was beyond the Jetstream aircraft's range.
The woman, who was not named, was charged with attempted hijacking, wounding and other offenses. She was due to appear in court in Christchurch on Saturday, police said.
The pilot suffered a severely cut hand in the attack, and the co-pilot was injured on the foot, Cliff said. One passenger suffered a minor hand injury caused by the attacker, Cliff said. He did not explain how the woman was subdued.
The passengers included four New Zealanders, an Australian and an Indian national.
"Today's incident, although a one-off, has naturally given us cause to conduct a thorough review of our safety and security systems and processes on regional domestic flights," said Air New Zealand's general manager of short-haul airlines, Bruce Parton.
New Zealand last year adopted legislation allowing armed air marshals on international flights, but only if other nation's required such measures. There are no marshals on domestic flights.
