My name is Jacquelin Rios, I am 20 years old going on 21 in June. I am the second oldest out of five kids. I am from the San Fernando Valley in southern California most specificly I was born and raised in Pacoima. I no longer live with my parents because I moved to San Jose in 2005. This is my third year at San Jose State. I am a Film and Television major with a minor in Journalism. In my free time I like to listen to music and hangout with friends. I live with my boyfriend who I am engage to. I have a dog who is one year old, he is a mix pitbull/lab. I work at an elementary as an after school teacher, I work with first and second grade kids.
My hobbys include going out to concerts, new places, and sometimes i like to saty home. I am the second person in my whole family to go to college and Im hoping to graduate soon. The thing I enjoy the most is films I am a film geek so the free time i have i try to watch as many films as i can. My favorite kind of films are documentary, cult, horror, and musicals.
My goals for this semster are: To pass all my classes with a better GPA than last semester, work out more because my health is not all that well right now, Visit my parents more often. I hope to learn a great deal of things in this class because they will apply to my knowledge of journalism since it is my minor. I hope to have fun this semester and pass this class.
