Fact Set #1: Pipe fitter
Duane La Chance,55, suffered third-degree burns and was listed in serious conditions at 3 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to Henry Rosen, Chance who worked for Gross Engineers in Springfield was installing pipes on the roof of the power plant when he accidently touched a power line carrying 15,000 volts, he is now in intensive care at Springfield Hospital.
Fact Set #2: Car accident
James W. Cunning, 20, and Wayne Clay, 19, were involved in a car crash at 11:45 a.m. today just one-tenth of a mile north of Blue Ridge Road.
Cunning was driving south on U.S. 63, Clay apparently crossed the center line and struck the Cunning vehicle, according to an officer in the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department. Cunning is in satisfactory condition at Springfield Hospital.
